The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
